New Observations

 

Mud and broken sandbags were observed on road at Gate 40. The Contractor was reminded to remove the mud and replace the broken sandbags as soon as possible to prevent any muddy water runoff from the construction work area to the public drain due to rainfall. The Contractor was recommended to review the effectiveness of sandbags regularly.

 

2.

Mitigation measure for exposed slope at W50 was observed insufficient. The Contractor was reminded to cover the exposed slope properly to prevent any surface runoff to the nearby public drain.

 

3.

Stagnant water was accumulated inside the drip tray of generator at W35A. The Contractor was reminded to clear the stagnant water and handle it as chemical waste. The Contractor was also reminded to remove the stagnant water inside the drip trays regularly to prevent any overflow occurred. The Contractor was recommended to provide skirt curtains for drip trays to prevent rainy water accumulated inside the drip tray during rainfall.
